Angie Katsanevas is clearing up rumors about her friendship with Mary Cosby. The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star addressed speculation that she and Mary had unfollowed each other on Instagram, suggesting there’s more to the story.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Angie, 52, insisted she never unfollowed Mary or removed her from her followers.
“I love Mary. I did not unfollow her. I did not remove her as a follower, and I guess I’ll just leave it at that,” Angie said.
Her comments have fueled speculation that Mary, 53, may have blocked her. The Instagram account Bravo Snark Side pointed to the possibility after sharing a screenshot showing that the two weren’t following each other back in April. However, Mary has not publicly confirmed that she blocked Angie.
Angie Katsanevas Addresses Her Friendship With Mary Amid RHOSLC Rumors
The Instagram drama follows Mary previously describing her friendship with Angie as one of the highlights of appearing on RHOSLC.
“Finding sisterhood is good in this world, just in general,” Mary told Us Weekly. She also discussed how difficult it can be to find friendships that feel like family.
Despite the rumors, Angie made it clear she still cares about Mary and her fellow Housewives. She also explained why she hadn’t spent much time with her castmates recently.
“I’ve got a lot going on personally right now, and I really haven’t spent a lot of time with anyone right now, this summer,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
Angie’s comments come amid her separation from husband Shawn Trujillo. Although she stopped short of confirming whether Mary had blocked her, she emphasized that the women still care about one another.
Angie Praises Mary’s Strength Following Her Son’s Death
Although questions remain about their Instagram relationship, Angie had nothing but praise for how Mary handled the death of her son, Robert Cosby Jr.
Angie said that watching Mary navigate such a devastating loss taught her a great deal. She described her co-star as incredibly strong and recalled that Mary didn’t want anyone feeling sorry for her.
Mary found comfort in her faith and her belief that her son was going home to God. Angie was particularly moved by how Mary approached her grief and the example she set for the other women.
Despite whatever may be happening between them, Angie made it clear that she still cares about Mary.
“And we all love Mary and we’re all gonna be here for each other when we truly need each other in our darkest hour,” she said.

This makes me sad. I hope this friendship survives all the hws bs.
Not a fan of Angie- but i love her friendship with Mary. Hope they work it out.
