Leah Remini is headed to Beverly Hills.
The “King of Queens” star has signed on to join “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for season 16, according to TMZ.
Production sources told the outlet that Leah recently finalized her deal to become a Housewife, making her one of the most recognizable celebrities to join the franchise.
Leah is best known for playing Carrie Heffernan opposite Kevin James on “The King of Queens,” which ran for nine seasons. She has also built a reputation for speaking her mind, something that could make her an interesting addition to the RHOBH group.
Leah Remini Joins RHOBH After Making Another Major Career Move
Leah’s Bravo casting comes shortly after another significant professional change.
Variety reported earlier in August that Leah signed with talent agency William Morris Endeavor, signaling that new projects could be ahead.
Her next move is now becoming much clearer with her addition to RHOBH.
Leah won’t be the only familiar television personality joining season 16.
“Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” star Tracy Tutor has also signed on for the new season. Bravo and Cocktails reported that Tracy was headed to RHOBH before the casting became public knowledge.
Andy Cohen has since publicly praised Tracy’s addition, calling her casting “a very long time coming” and describing her as a “bullseye” for the franchise.
Now Bravo is adding another outspoken personality to the mix with Leah.
With both Tracy and Leah joining the cast, season 16 is shaping up to bring some major changes to Beverly Hills.
