Ryan Culberson appears to be addressing the family drama surrounding his wife, Briana Culberson, after some surprising details made their way onto RHOC.
The situation became public during the July 30 episode of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” when Vicki Gunvalson’s son, Michael Wolfsmith, revealed that he hadn’t seen his sister Briana in eight years and had only met two of her four children.
Michael later provided more details on Instagram, claiming he’d never been invited to Briana and Ryan’s Oklahoma home. According to Michael, Briana previously discouraged him from visiting because Ryan wasn’t comfortable with him.
Ryan hasn’t directly mentioned Michael, Vicki or Briana in response. But days later, he shared two pointed messages that quickly caught RHOC viewers’ attention.
Ryan Culberson Says He’ll Tell His Story With ‘No Edits, No Filters’
@tasteof__reality TL;DR, Briana deserves better!! #rhoc #realhousewivesoforangecounty #bravotv #bravo #greenscreen
Ryan’s first post focused on his past and made it clear he wasn’t afraid to address difficult periods in his life.
“No one can use my past against me. I’ll sit at the table, look you in the eye, and tell my story from beginning to end – no edits, no filters,” he wrote. “I own every mistake, every failure, every scar I picked up along the way.”
Ryan continued, “I’ve already faced the darkest chapters of my life and made peace with them. They don’t control me anymore – they built me. What’s tea for you is my testimony. What you whisper about, I’ve already survived!”
“I am not ashamed of where I’ve been. I’m proud of how I made it out,” he concluded.
Ryan followed that with another message: “DON’T LET WHACK PEOPLE MESS WITH YOUR DOPE ENERGY!”
“Protect your energy like your future depends on it. STAY BLESSED!” he added.
Vicki Gunvalson Says Briana Wants Nothing to Do With RHOC
The family revelations come as Vicki has also been discussing Briana’s decision to stay away from “The Real Housewives of Orange County.”
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Vicki said her daughter “wants nothing to do with” the series and claimed Briana told Andy Cohen to “please lose my number” when approached about a season 20 appearance.
Andy later disputed that version of events on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live.”
“That is an incorrect characterization,” Andy said.
According to Andy, he spoke directly to Briana about what happened.
“Briana and I had a side conversation this morning. She’s like, ‘I don’t know where this rumor started.’ And I go, ‘I’m gonna tell you where it started.’ She goes, ‘We had a lovely talk.’ I go, ‘Yeah, that started from your mom.’ She was like, ‘Oh, Vicki,’” he said.
Andy also said he planned to confront Vicki and read his texts with Briana on the air.

Vicki is a pathological liar obsessed with creating the perfect image. We ALL saw Ryan, we all know why she’s not wanting to be in front of a camera.
I can’t wait to see Vicki’s face when he doesn’t read them
I truly dont blame Brianna or her husband for wanting nothing to do with the show. Unfortunately the consequences from the divorce from Don, and the abhorrent treatment of Brianna by her family during the Brooks era, have had lasting effects on their relationships. As much as we enjoy Housewives, we cant dismiss the toxic familial environments it can create.
