Daisy Toye and her husband, Eugene Toye, may have very different personalities, but nearly 10 years into their marriage, the RHONY newcomer says their dynamic works.

“We scream a lot. We yell a lot. We laugh a lot. We drink a lot. We have fun,” Daisy told Bravo Insider. “But it all works out.”

The “Real Housewives of New York City” star described Eugene as much more structured than she is, joking that even leaving the refrigerator door open can become an issue in their home.

“We have very different personalities. Eugene is definitely more structured. I am the opposite. When it’s good, it’s good. But when I leave the refrigerator door open, it’s not good, and I have to hear about it for weeks,” she said.

Daisy Toye Was Immediately Attracted to Eugene

Daisy met Eugene while getting her hair done at a salon, and she immediately noticed the hairstylist across the room.

“I met Eugene at a hair salon. I was getting my hair done. And I see this sexy, big, juicy buff guy cutting hair. I was so attracted to him,” Daisy recalled. “I always like to see Eugene catfished me because on our first date he had three or four margaritas and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this guy’s a good time.’ But now, I finish his margaritas.”

The couple got engaged in July 2016 and married that November.

Eugene Toye Has His Own Career in the Beauty Industry

Like Daisy, Eugene works with high-profile clients in the beauty industry. He trained with the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles and currently works at New York City’s Oscar Blandi Salon. His clients have included Daisy’s longtime client Martha Stewart.

“Eugene’s a hairstylist, so we work a lot together,” Daisy said. “He has a very different clientele than I do.”

Daisy and Eugene share an 8-year-old son, Quinton, and live together in Battery Park City.

“Quinton’s delicious. He’s the sweetest boy. He’s a lot of my personality, but organized like daddy,” Daisy said. “Family life is great.”
