‘Next Gen NYC’ Stars Ariana Biermann and Liam Obergfoll Send Mixed Signals About Their Romance

Ariana Biermann and Liam Obergfoll are keeping “Next Gen NYC” fans guessing about their relationship status, and their latest public appearance isn’t making things any clearer.

The Bravo stars attended Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea Awards on October 6, where they looked particularly cozy, even though Ariana insists they aren’t officially dating.

“We are not dating,” Ariana, 24, told Page Six when asked about their relationship.

However, their interactions throughout the evening told a slightly different story.

Ariana and Liam, 29, were spotted smiling, laughing, and touching each other while seated alongside fellow “Next Gen NYC” star Shai Fruchter.

Liam also enthusiastically supported Ariana when she won the Breakout Star Award, giving her a standing ovation while recording her acceptance speech.

When the awards show hosts asked whether the evening was a date night, Liam didn’t give a straightforward answer.

“We’re here to celebrate the reality world and everyone that is fantastic in the world, right?” he responded.

So, are these two just friends, or is something more happening behind the scenes?

Ariana Biermann and Liam Obergfoll Have Been Spotted Getting Cozy More Than Once

The awards show wasn’t the first time Ariana and Liam raised eyebrows.

Just days earlier, the two were reportedly spotted getting affectionate at a Harry Styles concert at Madison Square Garden.

They were also photographed holding hands during New York Fashion Week in September, adding to speculation that their romance might not be completely over.

Despite denying they’re a couple, Ariana admitted she enjoys seeing fans root for them.

“Liam’s an incredible guy, and I’ve always said that, so it’s been awesome,” she told Page Six.

Liam seemed equally enthusiastic about the attention.

“I love the support,” he said. “I’m a fan. I’m a fan of her, so.”

Their complicated relationship comes after a messy season involving Ariana’s previous connection with fellow cast member Charlie Zakkour and her subsequent romance with Liam.

Although things fizzled out by the season 2 reunion, Liam made it clear that his feelings hadn’t disappeared.

Liam Obergfoll Previously Admitted the Door Is Open for Romance

During Part 2 of the “Next Gen NYC” season 2 reunion, Andy Cohen asked Liam whether he would consider rekindling things with Ariana.

“I mean, it’s open for me,” Liam admitted.

He then made his feelings even clearer.

“I always have feelings for you, girl,” he told Ariana.

Ariana, however, explained that she was focused on herself rather than jumping into another relationship.

“I am in a journey of figuring out me and my life and what’s going on,” she said.

Both stars also opened up about what initially attracted them to each other.

Liam described Ariana as gorgeous and said he became intrigued after getting to know her, while Ariana praised his ambition, honesty, and sense of humor.

For now, Ariana and Liam say they’re not dating, even as their recent appearances keep fueling speculation.

Bravo has not officially announced a third season of “Next Gen NYC,” leaving fans waiting to see whether their relationship will have another chapter on screen.
