Nia Sanchez and Danny Booko are officially leaving “The Valley” — confirming what Bravo and Cocktails heard just hours before the couple made the news public.

Hours before their announcement, Bravo and Cocktails previously heard from a source that Nia and Danny would not be returning to the Bravo reality show. The married couple then confirmed their departure in a joint Instagram post on September 1, weeks after season 3 wrapped with the final part of the reunion.

“We wanted to share a quick update that we will not be returning to The Valley. We’re incredibly grateful for this experience but our priority is protecting our peace and our family,” the couple wrote.

The announcement ends Nia and Danny’s three-season run on the show after a particularly difficult season put their marriage and Danny’s behavior under increased scrutiny.

Nia Sanchez & Danny Booko Say Their Family Comes First After ‘The Valley’

Nia and Danny made their priorities clear in their announcement.

“We are fully committed to each other and our beautiful children,” they wrote.

The couple, who have been married for a decade, share four children: 4-year-old son Asher, 3-year-old twin daughters Isabelle and Zariah, and 15-month-old daughter Adelaide.

Nia and Danny also thanked fans and Bravo before looking ahead to life after the show.

“We want to thank everyone for all the love and support you’ve shown us,” they wrote.

“Thank you to Bravo and the team for everything. We are looking forward to what the next chapter brings. 🤍. With so much love, Danny + Nia,” the post concluded.

Their decision follows a tense season 3 for the couple.

Danny faced criticism from several cast members over his behavior and drinking, including Lala Kent, Janet Caperna, Jason Caperna, Brittany Cartwright and Jasmine Goode.

Nia repeatedly defended her husband as those conversations played out throughout the season.

Danny Booko Apologized to Nia Sanchez After Difficult ‘The Valley’ Season

One scene showed Danny speaking curtly to Nia before Lala stepped in. The moment became an ongoing source of tension among the cast.

After watching the episodes back, Danny publicly apologized to his wife.

“Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy. It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of,” he said.

Danny cited “a short fuse, stress, alcohol and lack of sleep” while discussing his argument with Nia over a drag competition, but acknowledged that those factors were “not an excuse.”

“I should never have taken any of it out on you,” he continued. “Balancing parenthood and life can stretch you in ways you don’t fully realize until you see yourself through a different lens. I love, honor, and respect you deeply, and I did not show that in some of these moments.”

Bravo has not officially announced a season 4 renewal for “The Valley.” All three seasons are currently available to stream on Peacock.
