The “Dancing With the Stars” ballroom is officially open for business again — and season 35 has no shortage of celebrities who already know how to move.
The complete season 35 cast and their professional partners were announced on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday, September 2. This year’s group includes actors, reality stars, athletes, a celebrity chef and several contestants with some serious dance experience.
Among the biggest names joining the competition are “Step Up” star Jenna Dewan, “Save the Last Dance” actress Julia Stiles, “Grey’s Anatomy” star Harry Shum Jr., Bachelor Nation favorite Tyler Cameron and celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis.
Jenna will dance with Val Chmerkovskiy, while Julia is paired with Ezra Sosa. Harry landed Jenna Johnson as his partner, Tyler will compete with returning pro Sharna Burgess, and Giada is paired with Alan Bersten.
‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 35 Cast Includes Plenty of Familiar Faces
The rest of the cast is just as packed.
“The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum Tatyana Ali will dance with Jan Ravnik, Hanson musician Taylor Hanson is paired with Britt Stewart and comedian Connor Wood will compete with Rylee Arnold.
Two Olympic athletes are also entering the ballroom. Paralympic track and field gold medalist Ezra Frech is paired with Daniella Karagach, while Olympic figure skating gold medalist Amber Glenn will dance with Pasha Pashkov.
Reality TV is well represented, too.
Conner Leavitt, husband of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star and former DWTS contestant Whitney Leavitt, will compete with “Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro” winner Adele Zaikman. Sarah Jane Nader, sister of season 33 contestant Brooks Nader, is paired with Hailey Bills.
Four celebrities had already been revealed before Wednesday’s big announcement. “Summer House” star Ciara Miller will dance with Brandon Armstrong, while “Love Island UK” and “The Traitors” star Maura Higgins is paired with Mark Ballas.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” personality Guillermo Rodriguez will compete with Witney Carson, while Savannah Bananas player Jackson Olson is paired with Emma Slater.
DWTS Brings Back Sharna Burgess & Makes History With Witney Carson
Season 35 will also feature some major moments among the pros.
Sharna is returning after five seasons away. Her last season as a competitor was season 30 in 2021, when she danced with now-fiancé Brian Austin Green.
Witney, meanwhile, will make “DWTS” history while defending her Mirrorball title after winning season 34 with Robert Irwin. She is competing while in her second trimester with baby No. 3, making her the first professional dancer on the show to compete that far along in a pregnancy.
Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will return as co-hosts, while Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough are back at the judges’ table.
They have a tough act to follow. The season 34 finale drew 9.24 million viewers, making it the show’s biggest finale audience in nine years.
“Dancing With the Stars” season 35 premieres across two nights on Tuesday, September 15, and Wednesday, September 16, on ABC and Disney+. Episodes will stream the following day on Hulu.
