Ariana Biermann is revealing just how difficult her financial situation became after the money she earned as a teenager was allegedly taken by her parents, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann.

The “Next Gen NYC” star opened up on the “Next Gen NYC After Show” for episode 8 about her finances while discussing her decision to document her move to Brooklyn following her breakup with Hudson McLeroy.

“When Hudson and I decided to move out, I literally had, I think, like $200 to my name, genuinely,” Ariana revealed. “Obviously, we know my parents took my money. I never got a dollar.”

Ariana, however, said her financial situation has significantly improved since then.

“I just filed taxes on … all the money I never received,” she said of the payment to the IRS. “Thank you, Jesus, for putting me in a place to be able to do that though.”

Ariana Biermann Says Hudson McLeroy Saw Her Financial Turnaround

Ariana said Hudson witnessed both sides of her financial journey.

As her social media career took off and her income increased, Ariana believes their changing financial situations occasionally created tension in their relationship.

“When we were together, he was so happy for me,” she said. “It did get to a point though where it was kind of like, ‘You’re bringing in more money than I’m bringing in right now. Like, I’m not used to that.’ That definitely was like, I think, a struggle at one point for him, whether he would specifically say it out loud or not.”

Ariana stressed that Hudson still supported her career.

“It wasn’t like he was trying to tear me down or whatever,” she said. “He didn’t come to an event with me, which really hurt my feelings, like, a lot, ’cause I was getting paid money and he wasn’t. But he was always very happy for me.”

Following their breakup, Ariana agreed to document her apartment search on “Next Gen NYC,” which provided another source of income as she started over.

The ‘Next Gen NYC’ Fan-Favorite Previously Claimed Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Took Her Earnings

Ariana first publicly discussed her missing earnings during season 1 of “Next Gen NYC.”

As a teenager, she had earned money through brand partnerships and social media deals. Ariana said she later discovered the money was gone.

“I can’t say exactly what they used it for, because I just found out it was gone two years ago,” she said. “I don’t even know how much money I made over that time period. Nobody was honest. There was no transparency. And I have no idea where it actually went.”

Ariana also pushed back against speculation that her mother was solely responsible.

“Everybody wants this to be my mother; this was a joint partnership in taking the money,” she said during a June 2025 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.”

Kim later addressed Ariana’s claims during a July 2025 appearance on “WWHL,” saying the family was dealing with significant financial problems at the time.

“Actually, the rug was pulled out from the Zolciaks,” Kim said. “And, yeah, I mean Ariana’s money was spent on bills, to be honest. … I was left, you know, holding the bag for the family.”

Ariana has also revealed that she continued helping Kim financially after moving to New York City, although that sometimes became a source of tension in her relationship with Hudson.
