Luann de Lesseps has never been afraid to give love another chance.
“The Real Housewives of New York City” alum has had two marriages, several relationships that played out on Bravo and a few surprising flings over the years. After searching for romance on “Bravo’s Love Hotel,” Luann is now happily dating a man named Michael — and their relationship is more serious than fans may realize.
“We’ve been seeing each other for almost three years now,” Luann revealed on the August 9 episode of the “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” After Show.
Luann added that things between them are “great.” Although she has largely kept Michael away from the cameras, Andy Cohen revealed that viewers will see him during the New York stop on “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th.”

Luann de Lesseps Became a Countess After Marrying Alexandre de Lesseps
Luann married Count Alexandre de Lesseps in 1993 after a whirlwind courtship.
“After the fifth day, he said, ‘Marry me,'” Luann recalled during a 2016 RHONY special. “I lived in a fairy tale, too good to be true.”
The couple welcomed two children, Victoria and Noel, and were still married when RHONY premiered in 2008. They separated the following year after 17 years of marriage.
“My family knew my marriage was in trouble. But the Housewives didn’t know,” Luann said of the breakup. “I didn’t want it to be fodder for the show.”
Jacques Azoulay Became One of Luann’s Longest RHONY Relationships
Following her divorce, Luann began dating Jacques Azoulay, and their four-year relationship became a major part of her RHONY story.
The couple split in 2013 after realizing they wanted different things.
“We adore each other, but we want different things,” Luann told Bravo TV. “Jacques wants to have a family.”
Despite their breakup, the exes remained friends. In August 2026, Luann confirmed they are “still close.”
Harry Dubin Joined Luann’s Long List of Bravo Connections
Luann had an on-camera fling with Harry Dubin during season 6 of RHONY.
Harry was already well known in the show’s social circle. He was previously married to Aviva Drescher and has also been romantically linked to Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer.
The relationship with Luann never developed into anything serious, but it became another memorable chapter of her dating life on the show.
Tom D’Agostino Became Luann’s Second Husband
Luann met Tom D’Agostino in 2015 after Dorinda Medley introduced them. Their relationship moved quickly, and Tom proposed in February 2016 with an eight-carat canary yellow diamond ring.
Despite Luann learning about Tom’s infidelity while planning their wedding, the couple married on New Year’s Eve 2016.
Their marriage lasted less than a year.
“It’s with great sadness that Tom & I agreed to divorce,” Luann announced in August 2017. “We care for each other very much, hope you respect our privacy during this sad time!”
Luann later told Cohen that learning Tom had met up with an old girlfriend became the “final straw.”
“I was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore,'” she recalled.
Luann de Lesseps Dated Mets Legend Keith Hernandez Before RHONY
One of Luann’s more surprising romantic connections happened before she became the Countess.
New York Mets legend Keith Hernandez revealed during a 2018 WWHL appearance that he and Luann shared a “brief moment.”
Luann later confirmed their history to Page Six, although she preferred a different description.
“He said that we hooked up … I mean, we hooked up many times, but I prefer ‘dated,'” she said. “At this age we don’t ‘hook up.’ We date.”
Garth Wakeford Appeared on RHONY Before Their Split
Luann began dating South African personal trainer Garth Wakeford in 2020 after meeting him on a dating app.
She initially wondered whether his profile was too good to be true.
“I saw the pictures of him, and I was like, ‘Oh, he is too good to be true,'” she said on the “Ex Appeal” podcast.
Garth later appeared on season 13 of RHONY, but the couple split by April 2021.
James Quine Met Luann on Bravo’s ‘Love Hotel’
Luann’s search for love eventually took her to “Bravo’s Love Hotel,” where she connected with James Quine.
In June 2025, Luann revealed that she and James were still seeing each other but had agreed they could date other people because he lived in Hawaii.
“I love James. He’s such a great guy,” Luann said on WWHL.
James had encouraged the arrangement because distance made a traditional relationship difficult.
Luann de Lesseps Says Boyfriend Michael Is Finally Coming to Bravo
Luann has since found a much more private romance with Michael.
“I’ve got a guy that I’m seeing that I really like,” she told Bravo Insider in June 2026.
Fans didn’t know much about the relationship at the time, but Luann revealed in August that she and Michael have actually been seeing each other for nearly three years.
Their relationship is also about to become a little less private.
Cohen confirmed Michael appears during “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th,” asking Luann, “How’s it going with your boyfriend Michael? We see him on the New York stop of the trip.”
Luann’s answer was simple: “Great.”
