Blue Stone Manor has become one of the most recognizable homes in Bravo history, and now a small piece of the iconic estate is officially up for sale.

People exclusively revealed that Dorinda Medley is selling a 3.7-acre buildable parcel from her famed Great Barrington, Massachusetts, property for $1.2 million. The listing marks the first time a buyer has been able to purchase land connected to Blue Stone Manor, which has served as the backdrop for countless memorable moments on “The Real Housewives of New York City.”

While the Tudor mansion itself is not for sale, the new owner will have the opportunity to build a home on land that has long been part of the estate.

Dorinda Medley Explains Why She’s Selling Part of Blue Stone Manor

Dorinda told the outlet the decision came after she unexpectedly learned just how much land she actually owned.

As part of her estate planning, the SiriusXM host and bestselling author had the property professionally surveyed for the first time since her late husband purchased the estate in 2005.

“I thought to myself, ‘Why do I need 20 acres?'” Dorinda recalled. “I’d been happy with nine! Now I found out I owned 19 and a half! It just felt excessive.”

She said the extra acreage sits far from the main house and wasn’t being used.

“I don’t want to pay all these taxes on this land I’m not even using,” she explained. “It felt wasteful.”

The discovery also led to an amusing realization.

“I’d been walking on that land thinking I was trespassing on someone else’s property the whole time!” she said with a laugh. “Turns out, it’s me! I own it!”

Dorinda eventually reorganized the estate into three separate lots, choosing to sell one while keeping additional acreage around Blue Stone Manor for privacy.

“I kept three acres behind my house for protective reasons,” she said. “But the property that I’m selling is far down there that no one would even notice it was meant to be connected to this land.”

The Iconic Bravo Property Will Remain a TV Landmark

The 3.7-acre parcel includes its own private entrance and access road and is surrounded by protected conservation land with views stretching across Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York.

Although there are height restrictions, Dorinda said she hopes the future owner builds a home that complements the property’s history.

“I hope whomever buys it builds a beautiful historical home here,” she said. “Something that really fits into the spirit of this special, special place.”

Blue Stone Manor has become almost as famous as Dorinda herself thanks to its starring role on “The Real Housewives of New York City.” The estate was the setting for several unforgettable moments, including her iconic “I cooked, I cleaned, I made it nice” outburst.

The property also hosted an entire season of Peacock’s “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip” and will once again welcome Housewives when “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” returns to Blue Stone Manor for its finale celebration.

While Dorinda isn’t saying goodbye to her beloved home, the listing offers Bravo fans a rare opportunity to own a piece of one of the franchise’s most legendary properties.
