Kristen Doute is opening up about where she stands with several of her former “Vanderpump Rules” castmates — and one friendship has been quiet for much longer than fans may have realized.
During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” the “The Valley” star shared updates on her relationships with Scheana Shay, Stassi Schroeder, Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix and Lala Kent.
When asked about Scheana, Kristen said the two aren’t especially close these days, although they have reconnected recently.
“[Scheana and I are] not super close,” Kristen shared. “But we talk. … Over the last three or four months, we’ve been in more contact than we have in a while.”
She also confirmed she still keeps in touch with Katie.
“Katie and I [also] talk. We just text. I haven’t seen her in a bit,” she explained.
The biggest surprise came when Kristen addressed her friendship with Stassi.
“There’s no bad blood. I just haven’t talked to [Stassi] in like two years maybe,” she revealed. “We’re just not in the same place at all. … Maybe [there’s bad blood] on her part. I just, I don’t know. We just have different friends.”
Kristen added that she remains in contact with Ariana, Tom Schwartz and Lala.
Today, Kristen and Lala both star on “The Valley,” while Stassi is preparing for her new Hulu series, “House of Stassi.” Ariana continues hosting the Emmy-nominated “Love Island USA.”
Kristen Doute Doesn’t Hold Back About Jax Taylor’s Rumored Romance
Kristen also addressed reports that former castmate Jax Taylor is romantically involved with Lori Krebs, the longtime publicist and close friend of Brittany Cartwright.
During the same appearance, Kristen made it clear her biggest concern wasn’t Jax’s behavior.
“To me, this is not about Jax,” she told Andy Cohen. “Jax is so diabolical. Like, of course.”
Instead, Kristen focused on Lori’s longtime relationship with Brittany.
“This is Brittany’s trusted paid professional, a friend, basically part of her family for the past decade,” she continued. “It’s so totally deceitful. It’s her publicist. The one person who knows the ins and outs of everything.”
Kristen also pushed back against criticism directed at Brittany.
“I’m tired of seeing everyone on social media come for Brittany and say, ‘You should have known,'” she said. “It’s like this woman’s sleeping with the enemy.”
