There’s a new chef in the galley for season 13 of “Below Deck,” and he’s already making it clear that he isn’t interested in drama.

Moises “Moe” Vilomar joins Captain Kerry Titheradge, Chief Stew Fraser Olender, and the rest of the crew aboard the new yacht, Azul V, when the Bravo series premieres October 12.

Moe brings four years of yachting experience and an impressive culinary background to the show, but some demanding charter guests could test his positive attitude.

“I’m straight positive, man — no negative,” Moe tells Captain Kerry in a preview of the premiere. “I don’t throw pots and pans. I’m not with the (expletive).”

However, the season 13 trailer suggests things won’t always go smoothly in the galley.

One guest tells Moe she’s going to stick her chopsticks in her own eyes, prompting the chef to tell a producer, “I am getting too old for this (expletive).”

‘Below Deck’ Season 13 Chef Moe Vilomar Has Michelin-Star Experience and New York Roots

Moe might be new to “Below Deck,” but he has years of experience working in professional kitchens.

According to Bravo, he attended Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, before beginning his career at Michelin-starred restaurants in New York City.

The chef grew up in Queens, New York, and now lives in Jersey City, New Jersey.

He describes himself as “super New York” and doesn’t hide his loyalty to the city’s basketball team.

“People ask me if I’m a Knicks fan. I tell them, ‘I’m not a Knicks fan, I am a Knick,'” he jokes in the premiere preview.

Moe also opens up about his upbringing and how unexpected his career in the yachting industry has been.

“Being from where I’m from, I never thought I would be working on yachts,” he says. “It’s been a blessing that I can say that I’ve technically been around the world.”

Outside the galley, Moe is a father to a daughter and enjoys traveling. His birthday is May 1, making him a Taurus.

With his restaurant background and experience working aboard luxury yachts, Moe appears ready for the challenges of his new position. Whether he can maintain his positive attitude through an entire charter season remains to be seen.

Season 13 of “Below Deck” premieres Monday, October 12, at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
