Paige DeSorbo isn’t completely closing the door on reality TV, but getting her back in front of Bravo cameras may be harder than fans hoped.

The former “Summer House” star recently addressed whether she could see herself returning to reality television after stepping away from the Bravo series. Paige has continued landing new opportunities since her departure, including a scripted Netflix project in collaboration with Amy Poehler. Still, she admitted returning to the kind of reality TV she once filmed no longer feels so simple.

“I think being off of reality TV — I never want to say never — but I don’t think I could ever go back in the capacity that Bravo films reality,” she stated in an interview on The Morgan Stewart Show.

Paige DeSorbo Calls Bravo Reality TV ‘So Hardcore’

Paige elaborated on what makes a potential comeback difficult during an appearance. Although she still loves the network and Andy Cohen, spending time outside the reality TV bubble has changed how she views returning to it.

“Do you know what I mean? It’s so hardcore,” she explained. “And like, obviously, I love Bravo. I love Andy [Cohen]. But I feel like once you’re out of it, it’s way harder to go back into it.”

Paige previously said she knew she could no longer give “Summer House” the level of participation the show required.

“I just had this overwhelming sense that I couldn’t go back,” she explained. “I know I would’ve been doing a disservice to [the show]. They accept a certain level of showing up, and I couldn’t give them that.”

Hannah Berner Helped Paige Look Beyond Bravo

Paige also credited best friend and podcast co-host Hannah Berner with helping her see that leaving Bravo did not mean leaving her career behind.

“There’s an element of thinking you need that show and network, and Hannah was reminding me they’re not in charge of where you are in your career,” Paige said. “I am assimilating back into society. I’m like, what do people do on a Saturday night in the summer?”

Paige may not be saying “never,” but her comments suggest a full return to Bravo-style reality filming is not currently high on her list.
