Kristin Cavallari is clearing the air about Austen Kroll — again.

After the longtime friends recently vacationed together in Mallorca, Spain, fans apparently flooded Kristin’s DMs with questions about whether something romantic finally happened between her and the “Southern Charm” star.

According to Kristin, the answer is a very firm no.

“Let’s f–king talk about it,” Kristin said on the August 25 episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast. “Every f–king DM I’ve had for the last two weeks has been about Austen Kroll coming [on the trip].”

Kristin, 39, insisted their European vacation did not include a secret hookup or even some vacation flirting.

“There was zero hooking up,” she said. “We weren’t even flirting or anything. He’s like a buddy.”

The ‘Laguna Beach’ Alum Calls Austen Kroll ‘Hot’ Despite Denying Romance

Kristin had plenty of nice things to say about Austen, 39, even while making it clear that she does not consider him a romantic interest.

She called Austen “so respectful and so cool” and described him as a “big teddy bear” with “the biggest heart.”

Kristin’s longtime friend Justin Anderson, who was also on the trip, backed her up. Justin said there was “none of that weird tension” between the pair, although he admitted he initially worried Austen might get drunk and make a move on Kristin.

Kristin said that never happened.

“I’ve always had male friends. … I’ve always enjoyed men probably because I’m basically a dude,” she explained.

The “Laguna Beach” alum said she “without a doubt” believes men and women can maintain platonic friendships.

“I think Austen and I are a good example of that,” she said. “I don’t think Austen likes me or has a crush on me.”

“We’re able to actually just be friends, and I think that’s why it was such a beautiful thing,” Kristin added. “And it was never awkward.”

That doesn’t mean she hasn’t noticed Austen’s looks.

When Justin declared that the “Southern Charm” star “has aura,” Kristin agreed.

“I think he’s hot. In person, he’s hot,” she said. “He’s six foot five, you guys. He makes all of us feel little.”

Kristin Cavallari Has Been Denying Austen Kroll Dating Rumors for Years

If the conversation sounds familiar, there’s a reason.

Kristin has been shutting down speculation about Austen since at least 2020, when she spent time in Nashville with Austen and his “Southern Charm” co-star Craig Conover.

“I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed to have FRIENDS that are guys,” Kristin wrote on Instagram Stories at the time.

Austen also addressed their friendship during a December 2020 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” explaining how the group originally connected.

“Honestly, she slid into Craig’s DMs and was like, ‘I’m coming into town,’” Austen said. “So we all went to dinner and we all just kind of hit it off.”

By July 2021, Kristin was addressing rumors that she was caught in a love triangle with Austen and Craig.

“I’ve never dated either one of them, I can guarantee that I’m not gonna date either one of them, and it’s possible for a grown woman to be friends with a grown man, and for that to be it,” she said at the time.
