Brittany Cartwright apparently isn’t interested in giving Jax Taylor another chance to stir things up on “The Valley.”
Following reports that Jax had a secret relationship with Lori Krebs — Brittany’s longtime publicist and someone she considered a friend — Brittany is reportedly making her feelings about her ex-husband’s potential reality TV comeback very clear.
According to an August report from the Daily Mail, Brittany, 37, is telling people she won’t film with Jax, 47, if he returns to “The Valley.” The outlet’s source claimed several cast members are supporting Brittany’s position, including some who aren’t currently on the best terms with her.
“Most of the cast are backing her up on this, even the people she isn’t getting along with,” the source said. “They understand why she’s so upset and why she doesn’t want to be around Jax.”
Jax appeared on the first two seasons of “The Valley” before exiting the Bravo series last year.
Jax Taylor Claims Brittany Is Trying to Stop His Reality TV Comeback
Jax has already publicly suggested that Brittany is standing in the way of his future opportunities.
“What hurts the most is feeling like no matter how hard I work to rebuild my life, move forward or earn new opportunities, there are constant attempts to tear those opportunities away,” Jax wrote on Instagram.
He then directly accused Brittany of contacting companies about him.
“Brittany has directly contacted networks and brands in an effort to stop me from working and to prevent me from getting opportunities affecting my ability to earn a living,” he claimed.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reported that producers are interviewing potential new cast members for season 4 of “The Valley,” although no final casting decisions have been announced.
The outlet’s source said producers are looking at “fresh faces” who already have organic connections to the group rather than adding more former “Vanderpump Rules” cast members.
Brittany Cartwright Was Reportedly ‘Blindsided’ by Lori Krebs Relationship
Brittany’s position reportedly comes after she learned about Jax’s relationship with Lori, who wasn’t simply someone in his professional circle.
“Lori wasn’t just Jax’s publicist, she was deeply embedded in their entire world and that’s what made this so shocking,” an insider told the Daily Mail.
According to the outlet, Brittany had previously heard rumors about Jax and Lori but believed their denials.
“Brittany had heard the rumors long before everyone else did, but Jax and Lori always denied anything was happening and she wanted to believe them,” the source claimed.
The insider added that others in Brittany’s circle had urged her to distance herself from Lori, but Brittany didn’t believe the speculation at the time.
“She was heartbroken and embarrassed once she discovered that they’d been hooking up,” the source said.
