Frank Catania Jr. is officially a married man.

The son of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Dolores Catania married Nicole Perricho on Aug. 1 during a romantic destination wedding at The Vintage House in Portugal’s Douro Valley. Speaking to People, the newlyweds said they wanted their celebration to feel “relaxed, elegant and effortlessly romantic” while honoring Nicole’s family roots.

“Nicole’s family is from Portugal, and her roots here run deep,” Frank Jr. told the outlet. “We’ve been coming here every summer since we started dating, so it already felt like home to us. I couldn’t think of a more beautiful place to begin our marriage.”

The couple worked with wedding planner JoAnn Gregoli to create an intimate celebration centered around family and close friends.

They chose to exchange vows during a traditional Catholic ceremony officiated by their parish priest in Portugal before celebrating with a reception featuring local food, wine and music.

Nicole wore a custom couture gown created with White House Bride owner Stacie Hiras, while Frank Jr. chose a custom suit by Michael Andrews Bespoke NYC. Dolores also wore a custom-designed gown by Stephen Yearick designer Leigh Price.

Guests enjoyed a menu inspired by Portuguese cuisine, including fresh seafood, filet mignon, Atlantic fish and lobster, paired with local wines and artisanal cheeses.

Dessert featured a timeless four-tier wedding cake with vanilla bean sponge, fresh berries and mascarpone cream, along with a second chocolate and salted caramel flavor. Guests also sampled traditional Portuguese pastries, including pastéis de nata, fruit tarts, macarons and chocolate truffles.

The Couple Added Personal Touches to Their Big Day

When it came time to celebrate, Frank Jr. and Nicole wanted the reception to reflect their personalities.

“For the reception, we wanted an energetic D.J. who could keep everyone on the dance floor with a mix of early 2000s music,” they said.

The newlyweds also included a unique tribute to one of their favorite television shows.

“We also had a projector playing scenes from ‘Miami Vice’ throughout the reception. It’s one of our favorite shows to watch together, and it was a fun little detail that made the celebration feel even more like us,” they explained.

For their first dance, the couple chose Bruno Mars’ “Risk It All.”

“The lyrics really spoke to us and perfectly captured how we feel about our relationship and the commitment we’re making to each other,” they said.

Frank Jr. and Nicole announced their engagement in February 2025 after a romantic proposal, with Nicole sharing the milestone on Instagram alongside the caption, “2.22.25 ♥️.”

At the time, Dolores celebrated the happy news in the comments, writing, “Sooooo beautiful!!! ❤️❤️.”
